Rose shot a 6-under 65 in the final round to finish on 18 under par 266 overall, securing victory a week after taking the WGC-HSBC Champions title in Shanghai. Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who was at or near the top on the first three days of the tournament with scores of 66, 67 and 66, faded on Sunday. He shot 71, and finished four shots behind Rose, in a tie for sixth. Rose overturned an eight-shot deficit to top-ranked Dustin Johnson to win in China. He started the final round two shots back a week later and birdied four of the last seven holes.
